Zero Snaps Data Deletion
App: Zero Snaps | Developer: SokoGnome
This page explains how users of Zero Snaps, published by SokoGnome, can delete or request deletion of data associated with the app.
How to Delete Your Account and Data
In the app: Open Zero Snaps, go to Settings, and select Delete Account. This deletes local game data and attempts to delete the anonymous online account used for multiplayer.
On the web: To request deletion of data associated with your Zero Snaps app instance, email us at contact@zerosnaps.com.
Please include Zero Snaps data deletion request in the email subject.
Because Zero Snaps does not use named accounts, we may need information from your device or app settings to identify the anonymous app instance associated with your request. We will reply with any instructions needed to locate the relevant app instance.
Data That May Be Deleted
After we can reasonably identify the relevant anonymous app instance, data that may be deleted includes:
- Firebase Anonymous Auth identifier associated with the app instance
- Multiplayer lobby or state data stored in Firebase Realtime Database
- Cloud-save progress, records, preferences, replay data, and local online history where platform cloud save is available
- Crash reports or diagnostics associated with the app instance, where technically identifiable and available
Data That May Be Retained
Some data may be retained when deletion is not technically possible, when it is not reasonably associated with the app instance, or when retention is necessary. Data that may be retained includes:
- Records required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling
- Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot reasonably identify the user
- Data retained by third-party services according to their own retention policies, such as Google AdMob advertising records
Deletion and Retention Timing
We process deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Ephemeral multiplayer lobby data is normally deleted automatically when no longer needed for gameplay or within 24 hours, whichever comes first.
Additional Information
Zero Snaps does not ask users to create an account with a name, email address, password, or profile. Online features may use anonymous identifiers and temporary multiplayer data so gameplay can function without named accounts.
