This Privacy Policy describes how SokoGnome ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when you use Zero Snaps ("the game") on iOS or Android.

This policy applies to the Zero Snaps mobile app on iOS and Android. It is the official, publicly accessible Privacy Policy for Zero Snaps for App Store Connect and Google Play Console.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Stored Locally or Backed Up by Platform Cloud Save

The following data is stored locally on your device:

Syncable progress, records, preferences, replay data, local online history, and a random cloud-device identifier may also be backed up through platform cloud-save services: iCloud Key-Value Store on iOS and Google Play Games Snapshots on Android, when those services are available. This data is transmitted to the platform cloud-save provider so the game can back up, restore, merge, and delete your progress.

1.2 Information Collected Through Anonymous Online Multiplayer

When you use the online multiplayer feature, we collect the following through Firebase Authentication, Firebase Realtime Database, Firebase App Check, and Firebase Cloud Functions:

1.3 Information Collected Through Advertising

The iOS and Android versions of Zero Snaps display banner and rewarded advertisements served by Google AdMob. Rewarded ads may be offered for optional in-game benefits such as hints or streak saves. The app requests non-personalized ads. AdMob and Google may still process information needed to serve, limit, secure, and measure ads, including:

Where required, Google may show a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform. In regions where Google provides privacy options, Zero Snaps includes a "Manage ad consent" link in Settings. You can also manage ad preferences through your device settings. On iOS, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, go to Settings > Google > Ads.

Zero Snaps does not request App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS, does not call Apple's tracking authorization prompt, and does not use advertising data to track you across other companies' apps or websites. Ad requests include a non-personalized ads setting.

1.4 Information Collected Through Daily Puzzles

When you play daily puzzles, the game fetches puzzle data from our content delivery network (Cloudflare). Standard server logs may record your IP address, user agent, requested URL, date and time, and related request metadata. We do not use this data for tracking, identification, or any purpose beyond serving the requested content, security, and reliability.

1.5 Diagnostic Information

The mobile app uses Firebase Crashlytics to help diagnose crashes and serious errors. Crashlytics collection is disabled at startup and is enabled only after the app determines that data collection is permitted through the consent flow. Crash reports may include device model, operating system version, app version, crash traces, error state, and non-personal custom keys such as whether ads have been removed. We do not set your name, email address, or other direct personal identifiers in Crashlytics.

The app includes Firebase Analytics, but analytics collection is disabled. We do not use Firebase Analytics to track gameplay behavior.

1.6 Support Communications

If you email us for support, privacy, or deletion help, we receive the email address you use, your message, and any information you choose to include, such as device model, operating system version, app version, screenshots, or steps to reproduce an issue. We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain records of support and privacy requests.

Through the mobile app itself, Zero Snaps does not ask you to provide:

Zero Snaps does not ask you to create a named Zero Snaps account or provide sign-in credentials to play. Online multiplayer uses an anonymous Firebase account in the background, and platform services such as iCloud or Google Play Games Services may require their own platform account if you use platform cloud-save features.

We use the information described above solely for the following purposes:

You can delete locally stored game data and the anonymous online account at any time by using the "Delete Account" option in the Settings screen within the game. This permanently removes progress, records, preferences, hint data, and local online identifiers from your device. If you purchased ad removal, that entitlement is preserved locally so the purchase continues to work.

The deletion flow also marks platform cloud-save data as deleted when cloud save is available and attempts to delete the anonymous Firebase user used for online multiplayer. If a network or platform error prevents the remote deletion step from completing immediately, the local data is still deleted and the app will continue trying to keep deleted cloud-save data from being restored.

Online match data is automatically deleted within 24 hours. You do not need to take any action to delete it.

To request deletion of any data held by third-party services (Firebase, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, Firebase Crashlytics, Apple iCloud, Google Play Games Services, or Cloudflare), please refer to the respective service's privacy policy linked in Section 4.

7.1 No Account Creation

Zero Snaps does not provide user-created accounts with names, email addresses, passwords, or profiles. The mobile app's "Delete Account" option refers to deleting local game data, cloud-save data where available, and the anonymous Firebase identifier used for online multiplayer.

8. Children's Privacy

Zero Snaps is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. The game may be suitable for broad audiences, but we do not target the Google Play Families program, the Apple Kids Category, or child-directed advertising. The game does not knowingly collect direct personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

Zero Snaps does not ask children or any other users for a name, email address, phone number, location, photo, contact list, chat message, or profile. Online multiplayer has no chat, no user-generated text, and no public profiles. Ad requests are configured as not child-directed, not under-age-of-consent directed, non-personalized, and limited to a G-rated maximum ad content rating. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the game or by contacting us, please contact us using the information in Section 11, and we will take steps to delete that information.

9. In-App Purchases

Zero Snaps offers an optional in-app purchase to remove advertisements. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information, including credit card numbers or billing addresses.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information associated with the game. All communication with Firebase, Cloudflare, Apple, and Google platform services uses encrypted connections where supported by those services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the game after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
